EVENT #1
Goodwoof

Combine the Olympics with the Oscars, and swap the humans for dogs. Thatā€™s Goodwoof. A place for our canine friends to show off their sporting, creative and aesthetic attributes. Following on from 2 successful years, the ultimate dog festival just gets bigger and better this weekend.

Local students from Bishop Luffa are showing off their barkitecture skills this year. Having made sustainable kennels as an A-Level project, they will be on display for Goodwoof attendees to admire.

EVENT #2
Chichester Art Trail

With an abundance of local, artistic talent. The Open Studios Art Trail makes for a great event to have a look into the creative process that Chichesterā€™s artists undertake. From woodwork to jewellery and even knitting, there is artwork for everyone.

So keep an eye out for these little green signs, or find out more at the Chichester Open Studios website.

Exciting news - Chichester Shutters have started their 20% spring sale. Based near the Bluebell Woods Chi Weekly talked about in previous weeks, their showroom is well worth a visit to see the shutters and how they install them.

EVENT #3
Live Music Lowdown

Summer Lates at Pallant

A nice range of music for all earbuds this week. One outdoors in the evening sun, and one with a special deal for Chi Weekly readers. See all below:

EVENT #4
Distinguished Gentlemenā€™s Ride

The Distinguished Gentlemenā€™s Ride in South Street

You may hear them before you see them. The Distinguished Gentlemen will be out in full force this Sunday. Over 250 motorbikes will be parked in the streets of Chichester and the riders will be dressed up for a good cause. Itā€™s well worth a stroll into the City centre.

The Distinguished Gentlemen was set up as a charity to support menā€™s mental health and prostate cancer. More information about the ride and where to see the bikes can be found here.

EVENT #5
Grandma's Attic Antiques and Collectors Fair

It can frequently be hectic in Westgate Leisure Centreā€™s sports hall. Gym goers training hard, sweating and shouting. But there will be a different feel this Sunday. Hectic in a way of bargaining, negotiating and filtering through intriguing treasures.

Grandmaā€™s Attic returns to Chichester, with over 100 stalls showcasing antiques and collectorsā€™ items. More info can be found here.

BONUS
West Dean - Free Access to Gardens

West Dean Gardens

In support of Mental Health Awareness Week. West Dean has kindly opened up their gardens for all visitors between the dates of Monday 13th to Sunday the 19th of May.

Thereā€™s no denying the positive effects nature and the outdoors can have on general well-being. So this is a great chance to reap those benefits and see some spectacular local gardens. Please see more info here.
