Screen on the Green, Milkshake Making & More

Happy Easter, Chichester.

Britons eat 90 million Easter eggs annually. If laid said by side, these would stretch all the way to Sri Lanka - now that’s a lot of chocolate.

Happening this week:

  • Outdoor Cinema - Wonka 🍭

  • Lots of local sport 🚴

  • Easter activities for the kids 🐰

Estimated reading time… 2 minutes 24 seconds.

Let’s get to it.

ACTIVE
Chichester Sportive

Warning - lots of lycra to be seen on Saturday morning. As Chichester welcomes the annual Sportive, cyclists will tackle brutal ascents such as The Trundle Hill …ouch. The roads to the North of Chichester will be busier than usual with cyclists, marshals and spectators - plan accordingly.

If you see a bit of Chris Hoy in yourself, there is still space to get involved. Choose from either a 55km route or a 102km route and enjoy.

ONE FOR ALL
Outdoor Cinema - Wonka

Oompa Loompa doompety-doo, have I got a great activity for you. It’s Wonka being shown on the big screen. This Sunday on Oaklands Park, Stonepillow are hosting a viewing of the newly released Wonka. Food, drinks and half-time music are all available.

With all money supporting a great cause - get yourself down to Oaklands Park this Sunday. More info and tickets can be found here.

ADVERT
Get healthy, get outdoors. Personal training available.

Reply for more info (running and strength training available).

EASTER HOLIDAYS
Hunt for real eggs this easter

Two weeks with the kids around the house could be seen as daunting. Fun, but daunting. Fear not, RSPB down at Pagham Harbour has you covered. With Easter-themed events all throughout the week. Hunt for and learn about real animal eggs, identify rare birds on the reserve or even make a palace for bugs.

LOCAL BUSINESS
The Milk Hut

When you think of a vending machine, a milk dispenser is not the first thing that comes to mind. The Milk Hut is a self-service milk dispensary situated on a family-run local farm.

Fill up a a bottle of organic fresh milk, mix it with a choice of flavours. From salted caramel to white chocolate, enjoy your very own milkshake.

Many nice walks are over this way, I would recommend Halnaker Windmill. So get some steps in and then replenish those calories with some fresh milk, delicious.
