Easter Activities For All
Happy Sunday, Chichester
Local pie shop owner Phil Turner is setting records on the BBC 1 show ‘The Apprentice’. Eight tasks and eight losses - It’s not the greatest of records, but at least he’s consistent.
In all seriousness, it’s great to see local talent represented on the big stage. Phil is doing himself and his Chichester-based business ‘Turner’s Pies’ proud.

Goodwood Charity Track Day 🏎️
Coastal Stroll 👣
Estimated reading time… 3 minutes 36 seconds.
Let’s get to it.

A WALK A WEEK
Fishbourne Coastal Stroll
There is actual science behind the benefits of living near the sea. Need some proof? Check the studies here. Living near ‘blue space’ makes people healthier and happier. Warning - Wittering summer traffic can do the opposite.
This weeks walk is backed by science then. A lovely coastal loop that is started from either The Apuldram Church or the Fishbourne Duck Pond. There are harbour views and lots of wildlife but be warned, it can be muddy (wear appropriate footwear).
Distance - 3.5km
Time - 1 hour
Worth it - yes.
PETROL HEADS
Charity Track Day at Goodwood
Last years Saywell Charity Track Day
Peter Saywell. He’s Worthing-based and the owner of Saywell International - a global aviation supplies company. The company’s success has led to some great West Sussex initiatives. Like supporting grassroots football through the sponsorship of the Arun & Chichester Youth Football League. Another of these initiatives is the annual charity track days at Goodwood.
This Saturday is one of those days - over 20 exotic supercars will be on display. The event will be in support of several local charities including St Wilfrid’s Hospice. Get your photo taken with the supercars, ask the drivers questions. And even enjoy a lap in one of the cars through a donation!

EASTER ACTIVITY
Pick Your Own (Easter Edition)
Dell Quay Pick Your Own is an all-weather fruit farm. Good thing it’s all-weather with our unpredictable UK climate. Lots of fun can be had picking strawberries and raspberries, almost as much fun as the eating part.
Dell Quay PYO are collaborating with Little Sherwood Farm to bring an exciting Easter experience. From the 29th of March to the 14th April, there’s the opportunity to pet farm animals, take part in a scavenger hunt and enjoy craft stations.
LOCAL BUSINESS
A New Cafe For The Community
One building that contains two special charities. The new community cafe on South Street opened its doors last month. All are welcome to the Jam cafe. You can get involved with craft activities or just enjoy a coffee from local roaster ‘host’. In the evenings there will be live music, open mic and craft exhibitions - with all profits going towards Creative Beatz (upstairs).
Creative Beatz is a charity that promotes the arts to the youth. Hosting drop-in sessions, workshops and providing a safe space for young people to develop their skills. Whilst engaging with the Chichester community around them.
