EVENT #1
Another one (sadly) bites the dust
Wahaca, Lime Squeezy and now Three Joes… maybe the building is cursed? It is a big building to fill, and alongside higher rates and lower footfall, it is a shame to see great businesses suffer. Unfortunately, Three Joe’s has closed their doors after 10 months on South Street.
Pizza is a great choice however, and Chichester has a great selection on offer. Here is a quick few to satisfy your Italian needs.
Independent Chichester Pizzeria’s
Pecorino (Parklands & East Wittering)
Cider House Kitchen (Birdham)
Mamma Mia (Bognor Regis)
La Campania (Arundel)
Chain-business Chichester Pizzeria’s
Pizza Express
Zizzi

EVENT #3
The Best Bluebell Woods Near Chichester
With thanks to ‘The Ambling Path’ for the full guide.
In folklore - anyone who hears the flower’s bell will be visited by a malicious fairy and die soon after. Best get the ear defenders on.
Jokes aside, this is a great springtime walk. The footpaths meander through a sea of blue, making for an amazing place to enjoy nature or to snap a memorable photo with the family.
To find the bluebells, head to Stoke Wood (on the left before the Kingley Vale car park). Enter the woods via the footpath sign and walk in a loop or out and back. For a full guide, with directions, the route + more, check out The Ambling Path’s review here.
EVENT #4
Turner’s Pie’s so close to £250,000 investment
Phil Turner didn’t exactly get off to the greatest of starts in BBC1’s The Apprentice. Losing the first 9 tasks consecutively, many viewers counted him down and out. But Alan Sugar saw the potential there. Keeping Phil in until the final. Unfortunately he couldn’t take the win, but did Turners Pies and the South Coast proud placing second place.
Maybe the taste of the pies played a role in Alan’s decision to keep Phil in the process. We are lucky enough to have Turner’s Pies on the doorstep. Find them at the end of East Street.
