ALONG THE COAST
Vintage clothing by the kilos

The South Coast is full of gems, when the trains are running many seaside towns can be reached with ease. Thirty minutes East is Worthing, and this weekend they are hosting a vintage clothing sale. Try your luck sifting through retro bits, you may just find a bargain.

Tickets are free and clothing is sold by the kilo @ £15. See more info here.

SOMETHING ACTIVE
The rise of the run clubs

Running has had an emphatic rise in popularity over the last few months, it’s great to see an influx of ‘running influencers’ and social media content focused on running. Run clubs are becoming a fantastic sober activity and a good way to socialise. It’s nicer waking up with a sore body than a sore head.

There are two weekly run clubs you can make the most of in Chichester. The Run Company meet every Wednesday at 18:00, and Sweaty Betty meet Saturday mornings at 9:00.

SOCIAL STUFF
The Escapist hosts first beer festival

The Escapist Brewery hosts a great range of activities from craft evenings to live sport and music. This year they have introduced a beer festival. Expect live music, street food and you guessed it… plenty of beer.

The Escapist can be found nestled in Crane Street. Entry is free and more information can be found here.

LIVE MUSIC
Deep, soulful house music. Nice.

I find it hard not to have a good time whilst listening to some funky house music. My dance moves may say otherwise, but it’s always good fun. La Havana welcomes local DJ’s this Saturday night. Get down there and get a groove on. More info here.

LIVE & LOCAL SPORT
Mens and Women’s local football

Local football all round this weekend. 7th place Chi City face an unbeaten in five, 3rd place Sittingbourne. This will make for a great matchup with kick off at 15:00 on Saturday.

If midweek football is more your thing, Selsey Women take on Moneyfields on Wednesday evening under the lights. Kick off is it 19:45.

Thanks for reading, it’s early days (ep2).

Maybe you know a good event?

Maybe there is something I can do differently?

Let me know!

And have the best week.

Reuben.
